Is it safe?

The Dimplex Electric Fireplace has full electrical certification throughout North America. No combustible energies are used to produce the flame. The glass on the front is impact resistant and remains cool to the touch. Great features if you have small children.

Will the Dimplex Electric Fireplace fit into my existing fireplace?

The Dimplex Electric Fireplace is designed to fit into just about any  fireplace opening with ease. The Dimplex trims cover openings up to 35" in width and 28" in height.

Yes. Dimplex mantels are available in a wide range of attractive trims and mantel surrounds to match or accent the individual decor of your home. The space saving cabinet and corner style units tuck into any room.

You can put the fireplace in just about any indoor area as long as it is clean and dry.

Is it expensive to operate?

No!!! This operates for pennies a day. The flame uses just under 300 watts of power. With an average electricity rate, the unit operates for  about 3 cents an hour providing all the warmth, ambiance and romance of a fireplace. When you choose to activate the heat feature, the total cost to operate the flame and heater is approx. 7 cents/hr. (gas fireplace manufacturers usually advertise operating costs at 17 cents per hr.

Will the Dimplex Electric Fireplace provide warmth and comfort in any room, large or small?

The Dimplex Electric Fireplaces distribute a warm, gentle, even heat over a wide area by means of a silent forced fan heater. It will produce about 5115 BTU of total heat. So working with the homes primary heating source, the Dimplex Electric Fireplace is capable of taking the chill off almost any room.
